Datenschutzerklärung
Kurz gesagt: Kein Konto, keine Werbung, keine Cookies, kein Tracking.
1. Verantwortlicher
Martin Petrov · Kontakt über das Feedback-Formular im Spiel (Einstellungen → Feedback) oder auf der About-Seite.
thefarmwerk ist ein privates, nicht-kommerzielles Projekt. Weitere Angaben im Impressum.

Privacy policy
In short: no account, no ads, no cookies, no tracking. Your farm is saved only on your device. We send anonymous usage counts only if you agree. Feedback you send reaches us.
1. Who is responsible
Martin Petrov · contact through the feedback form in the game (Settings → Feedback) or on the About page.
thefarmwerk is a private, non-commercial project. More in the imprint.
2. What is stored on your device
The game (your farm, the family with the names and ages you type, settings, stickers, coins) and the chosen language are kept in your browser’s storage (localStorage) on your device. They never leave it. Delete them any time by clearing the site data in your browser. This is strictly necessary for the game to work.
3. Hosting
The website is delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details. We do not store your IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
4. Anonymous usage statistics (only with your consent)
Only if you agree (on the welcome card or in Settings → About & privacy), the game stores a random id on the device and sends counts to our server every few minutes: version, kind of device, system and browser (coarse words), seconds per place and in the settings, what was tapped (e.g. “cow · eat”), play sessions, error messages (first words only), frame rate, load time and the basic setup in coarse numbers (e.g. family size, screen time on/off, language). Country, region and town come from Cloudflare’s network; the IP address itself is not stored. Never names, never anything typed.
Purpose: improving the game. Legal basis: your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Withdraw it any time in the settings (About & privacy → Anonymous statistics): nothing more is sent and the id is removed from the device. We keep the counts for at most 24 months.
5. Feedback
When you send feedback (in the game or on the About page) we store your message, rating and topic, optionally the children’s ages, plus version, kind of device, language and country (not the IP address). We do not ask for an email address. Purpose: improving the game. To keep automated mass submissions out, your browser solves a small computing task before sending and you tap an animal picture; no further data is collected. For a daily limit per sender, a one-way checksum of the connection and the date is counted in memory only, never stored. Legal basis: your consent by sending it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We delete feedback when no longer needed, at the latest after 24 months, or at once on request.
6. Weather
If you enter a town in the settings, the game asks Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) directly for the place and its weather; the town name or coordinates and, technically, your IP address reach Open-Meteo. Without a town, nothing is asked.
7. Children
The game asks children for no data. Grown-ups type the family’s names and ages; they stay on the device.
8. Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, object, and withdraw consent (Art. 15–21 and 7(3) GDPR): write to us through the feedback form in the game (Settings → Feedback) or on the About page. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
